In addition, high top bar tables are perfect for sports bars, because as you sit and drink your beverage, you are high enough that someone standing in your way is not going to block the TV. If you are sitting low to the ground, and people are constantly walking by you, you risk missing some of the game.
Finally, high top bar tables are considered more stylish than your standard low bar tables, as they give your establishment a slightly more contemporary look. Provided you can keep them clean, these bar tables can look good in any bar or tavern.
