Ingredients For Vodka Slime
Vodka is one of the most delicious alcoholic beverages for mixing. It takes good with just about everything, from chocolate/coffee drinks (vodka is delicious with both Kahlua and Bailey’s Irish cream) as well as fruit beverages. In fact, Vodka can be made into its own tomato sauce, and it is easily one of the best tasting tomato sauces available.
The Vodka Slime
The origin of the vodka slime are unknown, but its popularity is generally due to how easy it is to create. All you do is take a few ingredients, add them together and you’re done. There are several thousand different vodka related beverages, each using various ingredients, but somehow the vodka slime has become increasingly well known over time.
Vodka Slimes only have three ingredients, and it likely that you already have these ingredients in your house. The first ingredient, of course, is vodka. Preferably you use unflavored vodka but in reality you can probably use a lime or lemon flavored vodka as well and achieve the same result.
The next ingredient is a lemon and lime soda. Most commonly people use Sprite for the Vodka Slime drink because Sprite is not as thick as many of the alternatives. But many people are known to use 7up as well and likely get the same flavor.
The first and final ingredient is lime juice. You are only supposed to use a very little bit of lime juice, but this should be pure lime juice – not a mixed with water beverage.
When you put all these ingredients together, stirring is generally unnecessary but a light spin with a spoon is fine. You do not want to shake this beverage first or you risk losing the carbonation. All of the ingredients should be placed in a chilled glass that has been filled to the brim with ice.
