Value for Money, Bargain Booze
It's always nice to get your booze at a lower than expected price. But finding a lower than expected price is not always as easy as it would seem.
For some reason there are not regularly advertised sales on alcohol, unless you know just where to look.
First, get to know your local liquor store. They are going to have sales. Ask the cashier about their typical sales and the best way to find out what will be at a bargain price from week to week. They may have a website or circular you can pick up to get this information.
Next, look for places that buy alcohol in bulk. The more a store buys of something, from a distributor, the lower the price they get. They often will pass that savings onto their customers. For the most part wholesale clubs are the place to look for this kind of savings. Since they purchase spirits by the truckload, they can often offer much lower prices per bottle.
Finally, keep an eye out online. There are many forums with people in your area, who are likely also looking for bargain booze prices. Ask around, and maybe even start your own forum area where you and others can post where they have found low prices, helping each other save a few bucks.
