Of course, there’s always the option of buying slightly damaged antique wine glasses for a cheaper price, but then price isn’t likely to be your main concern if you’re going for wine glasses of this calibre.
You’ll also have to be more selective in where you look for these types of wine glasses, as you do for all antiques. You’ll often be able to find a great selection in antique stores, but be careful to do your research on the store itself to make sure it’s legitimate, as there are always people looking to make money out of unsuspecting customers. The Internet is another great way to go to find a whole range of antiques, with bidding sites being just one of the options to find some great pieces.
So, antique wine glasses would be a great addition to anyone’s drinks cabinet, particularly those who have a love of wine or of antiques in general. Antique glassware is often particularly ornate and, although pricy, is well worth the extra expense.
