Beer Cooler

When you pack a cooler full of beers you can either do it right, or you can do it wrong. Doing it right means a great cold beer every time you want one. Doing it wrong means you're going to be angry when you're drinking a tall warm one, instead of a tall cold one.

Avoid the annoyance, by packing the cooler right and having perfectly cold beers every time. Here's the secret to constantly cold beers.

First, lay your beer cans or bottles neatly in the cooler. Once you have a single layer completed you will pour ice over them, and shake the cooler down to get ice in between. Put a little more ice in, to allow for a light layer on the top of the bottles or cans. You can also add a little rock salt to the ice to help it create a faster cooling effect.

Next, add another layer of cans or bottles and then repeat the icing process. Keep doing this until you get to the top.

You may be surprised just how many more beers you can load in this way, and how cold they are when you reach in for them.

The latest 'must have' gizmo for a home bar has to be the modern style wine and beer cooler. A standard fridge just looks dated and tacky whereas the modern style coolers look modern and trendy - whilst being extremely practical at the same time.
