Tall Bar Stools
If you've watched a crowd of people walk by at the mall, you have noticed that not all people are built alike. There are a wide number of body types of people out there. The fashion world understands this and has created clothing for people of all sizes. But why is it we seem to still think one size of furniture fits everyone? It doesn't.
If you are exceptionally tall, or know someone who is, you know that many furniture pieces are not comfortable for those of more height. To sit at a normal sized table may mean their legs are bent all the way up to the underside of the tabletop. Stretching out may help, but then they are kicking everyone else at the table.
What about at the local pub? What good is a barstool if your feet are on the ground and you aren't really sitting on it? It's more like hovering over a seat that you can almost sit on.
Luckily, the furniture industry is starting to notice the differences in body types, with the creation of tall barstools and bar counters.
While you may not be able to dictate what kinds of furniture your local pub has, there is no reason you can't be more comfortable in your home. As you are creating your home bar, look for higher counters, and tall bar stools to help you have a more comfortable seat when you decide to enjoy a nice spirited drink at the end of the day.
