Ingredients

  • 4 Cups of Milk
  • 8 1/4 oz of Coffee
  • 1/3 Cup of Sugar
  • 1 tbsp of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/4 Cup of Kahlua
  • 5 Cups of Vanilla Ice Milk
  • 1 oz of Chocolate

Instructions

For those that want a more unique punch recipe that does not contain the standard fruit flavors, this coffee punch recipe is a great change of pace for your celebrations, one that will be happily greeted by the coffee addicts of the world.

Once the coffee is very hot (immediately after brewing), add all of the sugar and stir until it dissolves. Once it has disappeared, add the vanilla extract and all 4 cups of skim milk. Afterwards, put it in the refrigerator and wait for it to chill.

Once the mix has cooled, put the coffee mixture into a punch bowl and add all of the Kahlua. Once the ingredients have mixed, spoon the ice milk inside until it melts. Crush the chocolate with a spoon (or purchase crushed chocolate) and sprinkle on top for a little extra flavor and appearance. Serves 10-18.

The New Age Punch

Coffee-based punch is certainly not a common way to make a punch beverage, but it is quickly becoming a popular one. This Kahlua punch is great for work parties, holiday parties, and any cold or late night gathering. The Kahlua base makes it great for sipping, but those that are serving it to heavy drinkers are still going to be pleased with its reception as punch goes down smooth and quickly warms the belly.

Some people have tried adding peppermint schnapps for extra holiday/winter flavor. This Kahlua punch also makes a great addition to late night venues with heavy chocolate desserts (such as cakes and brownies) as it is often taken like a late night coffee.

Kahlua punch may not be your average punch creation, but it is easily one of the more popular new recipes available and because it has a preparation time of under 2 hours, it does not require so much effort that it cannot easily become a regular beverage for your late night gatherings.
